Innovative partner for consulting, planning, construction and operation
The leading European consulting, planning and project management enterprise, Drees & Sommer has supported private and public clients and investors for almost 50 years in all aspects of real estate and infrastructure – both analog and digital. The result is cost-effective and sustainable buildings, profitable real estate portfolios, people-oriented working environments, and visionary mobility concepts. The company’s 3,200 employees in 40 locations around the world work in interdisciplinary teams to provide support for clients from a wide variety of sectors. All the services provided by the partner-run company take into consideration both economic and ecological concerns. Drees & Sommer calls this holistic approach ‘the blue way’.
"the blue way"
‘the blue way’ is the approach that Drees & Sommer takes to all services. Combining economy and ecology and thus reducing investment and operating costs while enhancing functionality and process quality – as well as taking design, health, well-being and user-friendliness into account – are the goals for all projects. Only in this way can value-add be secured for the principal over the entire life cycle of the property.
The Drees & Sommer Group is characterized by a flexible, decentralized company structure and a corporate philosophy that puts people first. For over four decades the company has developed and pioneered innovations in every phase of its history.
The Aktiengesellschaft (stock corporation) comprises 38 active Partners who, together with former Partners and employees, are the shareholders of Drees & Sommer SE. This allows the Group to operate independently of third parties and to provide unbiased consulting to clients. As Managing Directors, the Partners are responsible for the operational units as independent entrepreneurs.
In their Managing Director roles in regional offices, the Partners operate as independent entrepreneurs. Partners Peter Tzeschlock, Dierk Mutschler and Stefen Szeidl form the Executive Board. Prof. Dr. Hans Sommer is Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
